These pancakes are my favorite post yoga snack and they're super easy to make. It was actually a Buddhist nun who taught me how to make these pancakes and I thought it would be nice to share the recipe with you (if anyone reads this). So you'll need: 1 egg Oat bran Maple Syrup Coconut oil optional: berries, chia seeds, brown linseeds Mix one egg, three table spoons of oat bran and one table spoon of maple syrup in a bowl until it's smoothly mixed together. Then you can mix in whatever else you want in your pancake (seeds, berries etc). Put a teaspoon of coconut oil in a saucepan and heat until melted then add your pancake mixture. It's best to cook these pancakes on a low heat as they can burn very easily. Cook until golden brown and then flip over and cook the other side. Then drizzle some maple syrup on top and serve with berries and a nice herbal tea (I went for lemongrass).
Hope you enjoy the recipe :) Love Chelle XO One of my all time dream holiday destinations is Hawaii, I hope to one day get the $$$ together to be able to go, but for now I'll settle for packing an imaginary suitcase full of goodies (courtesy of Polyvore of course) and browsing pics of Hawaii on Pinterest. Don't read on anymore unless you're happy to potentially lose hours of your free time to this fabulous but addictive website I've discovered recently.
Ok, so when you were little did you ever spend hours cutting up catalogues and magazines and putting together outfits or fantasy interiors? Did you ever fancy yourself as a magazine editor and practice laying things out as if you worked for somewhere fabulous like Vogue or i-D? Well, now there is a modern and online version of this on a website called Polyvore. This magical site enables you to scroll through thousands of clothing and accessories and piece together your own outfits and make them in to pages that resemble magazine layouts. At the moment I'm at home recovering from illness so this website has become my new favourite thing to do whilst resting on the sofa with a cup of tea - scrolling through Oscar de la Renta dresses to my hearts content. Here's a couple of the ones I've made so far. Hop on over to polyvore.com and try it out for yourself, just don't be mad with me if you lose a day to it :) Love Chelle XO |
